Our Story
We first met in 2017, while both working at Cracker Barrel. In June 2019 a group of us coworkers began hanging out weekly. Many fun nights later we went on our first date in November 2019. By March, we were moving in together (and with our best friends too)!
We went on road trips, quit our restaurant jobs, and finished school. We both started working in fields we were more passionate about. Hailey started in early childhood education and Fischer in software engineering. We lived in a small apartment for a year with just us and our cat Archie. After that, we rented our house and immediately got our dog, Callie.
We traveled to Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. Our love of travel led to the idea to take turns planning surprise trips for each other. Hailey went first, planning a whole secret trip to California where we went to San Diego, Los Angeles, and Hailey's home town Simi Valley. And Disneyland! Fischer thought here of his plan to propose in New York City for his turn. Eight months later, we were in Central Park by ourselves on the shore of The Lake where Fischer proposed. And here we are!
